Last Odyssey: Pinball Fantasia is an unreleased 1995 pinball arcade video game that was in development and planned to be published by Monolith Corp. for both the Neo Geo MVS (arcade) and Neo Geo CD. Had it been released before its cancellation, it would have become the first pinball title for the Neo Geo platforms.
In the game, players assume the role of a knight who has descended from heaven to fight against an army of monsters before facing their demonic king. Although previewed across a few video game magazines, it was ultimately shelved for unknown reasons despite being completed.
Last Odyssey: Pinball Fantasia is an arcade-style middle ages-themed pinball game reminiscent of Devil's Crush and Jaki Crush, where players assume the role of a knight who descended from heaven to fight against an army of monsters through multiple types of tables, each one divided across various stages hosting their own goals, before finally facing their demonic king Satan as the main objective.
The game begins with players shooting a ball into the table by holding the A or C buttons to launch it with a plunger and the longer the buttons are held, the harder the ball is launched. Five balls are given at the start of each playthrough, which players must keep going by using the flippers to hit it upward in order to accumulate points and avoid allowing the ball to drop to the bottom of the table.
There are various bonuses that players can experience during play. Failing to keep the ball from falling to the bottom of the table result in the ball being lost and once all balls are lost, the game is over unless players insert more credits into the arcade machine to continue playing.
