Lee Ka-eun (born August 20, 1994), better known as Kaeun, is a South Korean singer and actress. She made her debut as a member of After School with the release of the group's fifth single, "Flashback", in 2012.
Career
2012: Debut with After School
On April 9, 2012, Pledis Entertainment revealed that a new member would be added to the girl group After School. The following day, the new member was officially revealed to be Kaeun and details regarding a Korean comeback in June were revealed. Kaeun made her first appearance with the group at After School's first Japanese concert. She performed the group's hit song "Bang!" and participated in the drums performance of "Let's Do It" with the group.
Kaeun made her official debut with the group on June 21, 2012, performing their new single "Flashback" on M Countdown.
2019: Departure from After School and solo activities
Kaeun left Pledis Entertainment on July 6 following her contract expiration. Kaeun released her farewell solo track, "Remember You", on July 5, 2019. The music video was released on July 12, 2019. Kaeun joined High Entertainment folllowing her departure from Pledis.
