P.O.H.U.I (Patologia Obstructiv Huliganică Uniform Iradiată) is a single of the band Carla's Dreams launched on 12 March 2013 with the vocals of the singer Inna. The song was written by Carla's Dreams and it was launched initially as solo song in December 2012.
The collaboration with Inna began when she discovered the song on the internet in 2013. Inna with Global Records, her record label contacted the band and they decided to remake the song and to be sung with Inna. This collaboration marked the presence of the band in the Romanian show-biz.
Background and composition
P.O.H.U.I was written and produced by the members of the band Carla's Dreams.
Live performances
The song is performed at all concerts of the band. Also, it was performed live at Kiss FM (Romania); the video with their performance was uploaded on the YouTube channel of the radio station and had 64.000 views.
Music video
The song have two official videos. First version was launched on January 2013 and it was for the first version of the song. It was filmed at Chișinău by Sergiu Barajin.
The second version was launched on 12 March 2013 and it was for the song's remake with Inna. The clip is same, but some scenes was replaced to present Inna and the band's soloist, Sergiu. He wears a grey anorak, jeans and sneakers, being painted on his face; whilst Inna wears a white shirt, black jacket, black pants and black shoes, having the hair short in a boy-style with bangs. The scenes with Sergiu and Inna was filmed at Bucharest with the same director. The both versions was uploaded on Carla's Dreams' YouTube channel, with the second version was uploaded on Inna's channel. They have over 23 million views.
Commercial performance
Commercially, the song experienced widespread success on record charts. In Romania, it topped the Romanian Top 100 and Airplay 100 (Romania) in April 2013. In these charts the song reached second place.
